Unfortunately it failed right out of the box…
Unfortunately I never had a chance to fire this new pistol, since this revolver failed right out of the box. The hammer and cylinder locked up, rendering the single action feature inoperable . I therefore had to send it in to Taurus as a warranty repair. My concern with Heritage Mfg. is that the warranty is limited for a period of one year unlike other Taurus firearms that have a limited lifetime warranty.

Awesome fun gun to shoot.
This is an awesome pistol. I bought it for plinking. Works great. Looks really good. The one i got came in deep red grips. They are fun to shoot and the ammo is cheap. I will for sure buy another!!

great teaching pistol
i have had this gun for a good while.the action is smooth and has good balance. my 12 year old girl in one afternoon was able to keep a tight grouping at 20'.

good gun
had one for about 2 years never had a problem with it. great to take out to the back yard and plink or to teach some one fundamentals. only reason i sold it was because i joined the army and didn't want to lock it in a arms room
