Retay Ace
The Retay Ace is the entry point into the Retay Arms semi-automatic shotgun lineup — an inertia-operated 12 or 20 gauge that delivers the reliability of inertia operation at the most accessible price point in the Retay family. For hunters who want inertia cycling without paying Benelli or Franchi prices, the Ace is the starting point.

The Retay Lineup — Where the Ace Fits
Retay offers three tiers of inertia semi-auto shotgun. The Ace is the entry-level — most accessible price, standard components, reliable inertia operation. The Gordion is the mid-tier — improved ergonomics, better finish, and more configuration options. The Masai Mara is the premium — enhanced trigger, best wood or synthetic stock options, and the most refined Retay experience. All three use the same inertia operating principle. Choose the Ace for maximum value; choose the Gordion or Masai Mara for additional refinement.
Inertia Operation
The Ace uses an inertia-driven operating system — the same operating principle as Benelli's designs. Recoil energy compresses a spring in the bolt head; as the gun moves forward, the spring releases to cycle the action. Inertia systems are mechanically simpler than gas systems — fewer parts, less maintenance, and excellent reliability with full-power loads. Like all inertia shotguns, the Ace prefers full-power loads (1,100 fps or higher) for reliable cycling. Very light target loads may cause cycling issues.

Synthetic stock — Durable synthetic stock standard on the Ace — weather-resistant and maintenance-free for field hunting conditions.
Available in 12 and 20 gauge — Both gauges covered for different hunting applications and shooter preferences.
