Q Trash Panda

The Q Trash Panda is the 7.62mm titanium suppressor that established Q LLC’s reputation in the precision rifle community — a 1.75” diameter, full titanium construction suppressor that is both lighter and more durable than steel alternatives at comparable price points, produced to the tolerances that Kevin Brittingham’s engineering standards demand. Rated for .308 Win, 7.62x39mm, .300 Blackout, and compatible 7.62mm calibers, the Trash Panda includes a rear-end muzzle brake for use when the suppressor is not mounted. Since January 1, 2026, the NFA $200 tax stamp has been eliminated — the Trash Panda requires only a standard firearms transfer process.

Full Titanium Construction: Weight and Durability

The Trash Panda’s full titanium construction is its defining specification — titanium provides a strength-to-weight ratio that steel can’t match, enabling the Trash Panda to be both lighter than comparable steel suppressors and more corrosion-resistant. The 1.75” diameter keeps the profile slim enough for standard scope clearance on most bolt action and semi-automatic rifles without requiring canted scope bases or high rings. For precision rifle shooters who count ounces on their build and want the suppressor to disappear into the rifle’s balance rather than front-heavy it: the Trash Panda’s titanium construction is the answer.

Caliber Compatibility: .308, .300 Blackout, and More

The Trash Panda is rated for all calibers up to .308 Win / 7.62x51mm NATO, including .300 Blackout, 7.62x39mm, .243 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor (though the Jumbo Shrimp is purpose-built for 6.5), .260 Rem, and comparable calibers. The direct-thread mount system attaches directly to standard 5/8x24 threaded barrels — the most common muzzle thread for .308-bore rifles. For hunters and precision shooters whose rifles are already threaded, the Trash Panda installs without additional muzzle work.

Included Muzzle Brake: Versatility When Unsuppressed

The Trash Panda ships with a rear-end muzzle brake that threads onto the barrel when the suppressor is removed — providing recoil reduction during unsuppressed shooting without leaving a bare threaded muzzle. The included brake is a meaningful practical addition: most suppressor purchases leave buyers with a bare threaded muzzle when the suppressor is off, requiring a separate thread protector or brake purchase. Q’s inclusion of the muzzle brake completes the system out of the box.

No Tax Stamp Required Since January 1, 2026

The NFA $200 tax stamp for suppressors was eliminated January 1, 2026. The Trash Panda now transfers like any other firearm — standard 4473 background check, no wait for tax stamp approval, no $200 fee. The suppressor market fundamentally changed on that date, and the Trash Panda’s already-strong value proposition improved further. For buyers who previously avoided suppressors due to the NFA process: that barrier no longer exists.

Trash Panda vs. SilencerCo Omega and Dead Air Sandman

The Trash Panda competes with the SilencerCo Omega 300 and Dead Air Sandman-S at the premium 7.62mm suppressor tier. The Omega offers a modular design allowing different configurations. The Sandman-S uses a KeyMo mounting system with excellent lockup. The Trash Panda differentiates with full titanium construction at the lowest weight of the three and Kevin Brittingham’s engineering pedigree. For buyers who prioritize weight above all: Trash Panda. For buyers who want mounting system versatility: Sandman. For buyers who want modular length options: Omega. See our suppressors page for the full market comparison.
