One Gun, One Gunsmith: The Nighthawk Philosophy
Every Nighthawk Custom 1911 is built by a single master gunsmith from first machining operation to final function check — no assembly line, no division of labor, no multiple hands on the same gun. The gunsmith who builds your pistol signs it. This approach produces tolerances and fit quality that batch production cannot match, regardless of price. Hand-fitting the barrel to the bushing, the slide to the frame, and the trigger components produces a pistol that shoots better out of the box than most 1911s shoot after aftermarket upgrades. Nighthawk guarantees every pistol will shoot 1.5-inch groups or better at 25 yards.
2026 Nighthawk 1911 Lineup
The 2026 lineup spans compact carry to full government-size in single-stack and double-stack configurations. New for 2026: the Alpha Hawk, a 4.25-inch compensated carry 1911 designed for red dot-only use with no front sight; the GI Plus, a fully blued mirror-polished 1911 with authentic WWI-era markings bridging classic aesthetics and modern performance; and the Double Stack Thunder Ranch Combat Special, a collaboration with Clint Smith of Thunder Ranch offering higher capacity in a combat-tuned configuration. The full lineup also includes the President, Counselor, AAC, T4, and numerous custom configurations built to order. Available primarily in .45 ACP and 9mm.
Korth Revolvers: German Precision
Nighthawk Custom is the exclusive U.S. importer and distributor of Korth revolvers — hand-built German precision revolvers that represent a fundamentally different standard of revolver construction than any American production revolver. Korth revolvers feature roller-locking cylinders, DLC-finished internal components, interchangeable cylinders (most .357 Mag models include a 9mm cylinder), and hand-fitted actions that produce trigger pulls of a quality simply not available in production American revolvers. Models range from the Mongoose 6-shot in .357 Mag and .44 Mag through the 8-shot NXS with integrated optics rail and the aluminum-frame NXA, to the Carry Special for concealed carry use. Every Korth is built in Lollar, Germany to standards that make it the revolver equivalent of a Swiss watch.
