The 5” match-grade bull barrel eliminates the traditional bushing and produces consistent accuracy from the factory. Match-Grade Bull Barrel: What It Means

The M2XI’s bull barrel design eliminates the traditional barrel bushing found on standard 1911s, replacing it with a barrel that fits precisely into the slide without the tolerance stack that bushings introduce. The result is more consistent barrel-to-slide lockup on every shot, which translates directly to improved accuracy. QPQ Tenifer Finish: Durability Over Aesthetics

Tenifer penetrates the metal surface rather than sitting on top of it, which means it can’t chip or peel. The lightening cuts on the slide reduce reciprocating mass for faster cycling and a more distinctive appearance. Co-witnessing night sights are standard. For competition shooters running Carry Optics division or carry shooters who want a red dot on their 1911, the M2XI delivers the factory hardware without the gunsmith cost that optics-cutting a traditional 1911 slide requires.
