This gun is truly a thing of beauty!
Went to the range recently and shot a stock p226 nitron rental gun. Was filthy and had a dirty and scratchy action but was very accurate for both my girlfriend and I. Thought the gun was about 80% perfect-could have used a larger beavertail, and an action that had only one type of trigger pull. Did quite a bit of research and finally decided on this one: the p226 legion sao. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition! Cleaned, lubed and took to the range Sunday where it functioned flawlessly and put all shots through one ragged hole in the head of the target at 7yds. So much more than pleased with this purchase! Yes, it's expensive, but it is an excellent combat arm! It actually made two of my other guns look terrible by comparison! Going to be my new winter carry gun to CCW in an OWB rig with a cover garment as it just puts some of my other guns to shame. Girlfriend loved iit as well and asked me if I thought it was truly worth the price and as a former tactical instructor my answer would be-ask the hostage you were about to rescue from an armed assailant what THEY would want you shooting? A gun that will shoot a 12" group?, or a gun that will shoot a 1" group? Then just ask yourself if "good enough" really is worth it? Or would you want a gun that helps to make you the very best that you can be?
