Staccato
Staccato builds some of the finest production pistols in the world on the double-stack 2011 platform—an evolution of the legendary 1911 design with a wider grip that accommodates higher-capacity magazines without sacrificing the single-action trigger feel that made the 1911 an icon. Carried by Delta Force operators and USPSA Grand Masters alike, Staccato pistols bridge the gap between custom shop quality and production pricing. Impact Guns carries the full Staccato lineup including the C, P, P Optic, XC, and CS models.

What Is the 2011 Platform?
The 2011 is a double-stack evolution of John Browning’s 1911 design, originally developed by STI International (now Staccato) in the early 1990s for competitive shooting. The 2011 retains the 1911’s tilting-barrel lockup, single-action trigger, and grip safety, but widens the frame to accommodate double-stack magazines. In 9mm, this means 17–20+ rounds in a pistol with a trigger that competitive shooters have relied on for decades. The 2011 platform is the dominant choice in USPSA Open and Limited divisions, and Staccato’s production versions have brought that competition quality to duty and carry use.
Staccato C—The Carry Model
The Staccato C is purpose-built for concealed carry—a compact 2011 with a 3.9-inch barrel, 16+1 capacity in 9mm, and a thin enough profile for daily wear. It features Staccato’s signature DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) finish, a fiber optic front sight, and an optics-ready slide on the C2 variant. The CS (Carry Single Stack) offers a slimmer single-stack option for those who prefer thinner over higher capacity. For shooters who want 1911-quality trigger feel in a carry gun with modern capacity, the Staccato C is one of the most compelling options on the market regardless of price.
Staccato P—Duty and Versatility
The Staccato P is the full-size duty model, featuring a 4.4-inch bull barrel, 20+1 capacity, and Staccato’s superb factory trigger in a package approved for duty carry by multiple law enforcement agencies. The P Optic adds a factory optics cut for direct red dot mounting. The wide grip of the 2011 frame fills the hand naturally for most shooters, and the low bore axis keeps muzzle rise minimal for fast follow-up shots. The P is also popular with competitive shooters in Production and Carry Optics divisions who want a duty gun that doubles as a competition pistol without modification.
Staccato XC—The Competition Flagship
The XC is Staccato’s flagship competition pistol, built specifically for Open division USPSA and 3-Gun competition. It features a 5-inch compensated bull barrel, 9mm with 126mm magazine compatibility, an integrated compensator port, optics-ready top rail, and a factory trigger tuned to competition specifications. The XC is a ready-to-compete pistol that arrives already set up for serious competitive use. For USPSA Open shooters who want a factory option rather than a custom build, the XC is the most direct path to a competitive setup without gunsmithing time and expense.
Why Staccato Commands a Premium
Staccato pistols are manufactured in Austin, Texas with tight tolerances, premium materials, and individual quality control checks that justify their price point. The DLC finish is harder and more durable than standard nitride or Cerakote. The barrels are match-grade. The triggers are hand-fitted. The result is a pistol that runs reliably with any 9mm ammunition, shoots more accurately than most shooters can exploit, and holds its value better than almost any other production pistol on the market. For buyers who view a pistol as a long-term investment in performance, the Staccato premium is well-spent.
