The high-visibility 3-dot sightsystem features a raked-forward front sight for easy removal from theholster, and the rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation. TheSR45 also features a reversible backstrap (flat or arched), an ambidextrousthumb safety, a D-shaped magazine release, an integral accessory mountingrail, and a patented loaded chamber indicator. great gun great price
Just got one two weeks ago,already had the sr40c so I already knew about the sr line but just had to have the 45.Been to the range and wow what a firearm low recoil for a 45 not much different than the 40s&w.will be looking for a mini 14 soon.

awesome gun
This is my first hand gun I've bought and the base is set high. I'm not new to guns either. I've shot countless guns hand guns and rifles and this one is one of the best. I've put at least 300+ rounds in it. With 1 or 2 jams. Nothing bad though. This is a really reliable gun. Ruger is just reliable period.
