Fun plinker; uses 10/22 mags; travels easy
I've had this one for a little over a year now and I quite enjoy it. I picked it up since it's small, breaks down quickly to fit in a back pack, and uses standard 10/22 magazines. Plus, the barrel is threaded allowing attachment of a suppressor. To me, that makes it a great bug-out gun, but it's also just a darn fun plinker. Seems pretty accurate, too. I put a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot on top (it doesn't have any iron sights) and can relax and enjoy some bench top shooting. If I'm honest, there is one downside to a feature I otherwise like: The take down. This feature creates a junction between the barrel and the receiver which can result in the occasional misfeed/jam if the tension nut isn't set properly. Not a huge deal since this isn't a self defense firearm, but if I had to do it over, I'd consider a Charger that was not the take down version.
