I looked at all brands of guns Sig, Springfield, Taurus, H&k, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Etc. But never a Glock. The FNX 40 really caught my eye and I have never heard anything bad about them. It really feels so good in my hands. It came with 3 - 14 round mags and fully ambidextrous. I love Sig 226 and H&k USP, But for the price difference you cant beat it.I had to have it and I love it no regrets.

Perfect blend of HK and Glock...
I own a lot of pistols. The FN FNX-40 combines the best features of the HK USP and the Glock but does it even better. Everything is where is should be I you are a 1911 guy. Right and left hand shooters need not change a thing. The gun is truly universal at the same time. It also eats every kind of ammo I can throw at it. Accuracy is also stellar and with the low axis of the bore, recoil is less than ANY polymer gun I have shot. Trigger is also excelent right out of the box. I could go on and on..... The gun is a top of the line service/ combat gun that does every thing a notch better than its peers.

I've gone out twice, now. Put 250 rounds through my all black FNX-40...at 10 yards, i can get three inch patterns without a problem...at 25 yards i am stunned at how accurate this gun is...no jams using 3 different types of FMJ (winchester 165gr., tula 180gr and federal 180gr.) it feels great in my hand, and kicks a bit, but the return is quick and balanced...easy to clean...ambidextrous everything is sweet, and the magazines click in nicely..FN made a great sidearm...i am VERY happy with this gun...

Great Gun For The Money
I bought one of these a few months ago. I have shot 1 mag. thru it. It shoots, looks, and feels great. This was my first FN product. When I brought it home, my wife ask why I needed another gun? I ask her "Does Tiger Woods have enough golf clubs"? I have several other 40's and I like this one just as good as any of the others. Great product for the money. Main thing is buy quality ( which this one is), and buy what feels good in your hand. Its kinda like pickin your wife, you will know when you get the right one. Oh yea, this comes with 3 mags. Everyone else just gives you 2, also you had better get while the gettings good. Way to go FN !!

A must buy!
Bought last Wednesday, took it to the range last Saturday. First shot was a quarter inch to the left inside the bullseye at 25 feet. It is the smoothest hand gun I have shot in a long time. If I had to compair this to another hand gun I would compair it to a Sig @ $350 less. Plus it comes with 3 - 14 round mags and 4 different grips.
