OUTSTANDING!!, it's really nice and very well put together. You see the craftsmanship both inside and out as I unpacked it and dried off the oil. Pulled out the slide and wiped it down. This gun has an excellent trigger pull (dry fired). The ease of racking is awesome, the fit and finishes are really high quality. The nickel matte finish is unreal. So do think I like it? Yeah man, and can't wait to throw the hard ball! Thanks for the shipping from Impact Guns and selling me a 7 STAR Rock Island! I'm Impressed to say the least by far.

I would like to reserve the right to edit this review after I take delivery of the product. Did my homework on-line and was very impressed by the reputation and history behind Rock Island Armory & sister company Armscor the "ammo" and more maker. Based on impartial reviews by trusted names on YouTube, and my serious want to increase my collection by adding a 70 series 1911 copy that is indeed affordable with all the upgrades built in, I took a leap of faith to buy this great looking 1911. It will arrive in a few more days. It was in "back order status", so what does that say already? A lot of demand for a company that stands on a reputation of supplying more 1911's than anyone else, and has a lifetime warranty! I can't foresee any short comings. I will edit this later if possible. Of course, let me say that Impact Guns is really a pleasure to work with."Kudos" to Impact Guns with their products, pricing, and staff! My 1st experience so far.
