There are very few reviews on Girsan 1911s, particularly the Ultimate model so I felt I was taking a bit of a chance that this would meet my needs. When I took it out the first evening it ran through some Winchester ball and some 180gr JHPs that I had in my reload cabinet. It was perfect but with the failing light I couldn’t check for accuracy. Today I went out and shot two types of factory ammo and four different kinds of reloads. The 185 gr JHPs were quite accurate and I shot surprisingly tight groups for such a small gun. It ate everything I fed it. 100% with no problems. The sights are black front and rear which is troublesome for older eyes. But I was able to fix that problem easily enough. This is a fantastic little gun and great fun to shoot. The sights are the only weakness but I still give it 5 stars.
