Great shooter
I have had this gun for 25 yrs and not had any issues with it. It is sufficiently accurate to trust it with hunting whitetails - the poor results were not the fault of the firearm but, that's another story. The mirror polished finish is flawless. The double action is probably 8# or so and the single, 4#. These are just estimates. There is a bit of over-travel on the trigger but it's not excessive or bothersome. Taurus has had a poor rep with the older units (like mine) but I understand that QC has come up since then but, I haven't read any comparisons to back that up. All I know is my revolver (6"bbl) is great in all respects.
