So good I bought 2.
I originally bought an LCP for my wife after she tried several different pistols and revolvers before choosing the LCP. Living in Florida in the summer made the LCP great for concealed carry in shorts and light clothing. I found myself "borrowing" her's often. I eventually just went and got another one for myself and set it up identical to her's with the Crimson Trace laser, Hogue Handal Jr. and Desantis Nemesis pocket holster. It goes with me everywhere.

Perfect for a BUG, or summer carry
My wife purchased the LCP as her carry because of its small form-factor; it is both lightweight and easy to conceal. I tend to carry it instead of my G19 particularly when I am wearing warm weather cloths. For its size, it has surprisingly low recoil and is comfortable to shoot. For a male with average hands, only three fingers will fit on the grip, but it does not significantly impact the ease of use. It is consistent with shot placement, although I noticed it tends to shoot a tad high from point of aim. The feed ramp is very steep and may cause issues with certain types of ammo. For example, I first tried Winchester Silvertips and they did not want to chamber. Part of that was due to being too gentle when racking the slide. You have to rip it quickly to consistently chamber a first round. A polished feed ramp may help here. I also found it easy to disassemble and clean.

It's a cute lil' thang.
I purchased my chrome slide LCP at Impact in Boise. I was considering that or the Sig P238. The Sig is a fine weapon but I went with the LCP primarily for cost after looking at both weapons. The Sig is almost twice the cost and that extra cost buys a lot of ammo. The positive aspects of the LCP are the size/concealability and Ruger reputation. The down sides are that it has almost no sights to speak of, but given this is a close-in weapon that may not matter. I went ahead and added a Crimson Trace laser for the heck of it. I also had q few failure to ejects in the beginning but those have worked themselves out with a break-in period of about 400 rounds. I purchased a Desantis pocket holster as well as a leather wallet holster to have a couple different options to conceal, depending on what I am wearing. Since I've been carrying this it's hard to go back to my Glock 27. That thing is like a cannon to carry compared to the LCP.

Perfect, if a little small
This is a perfect pocket pistol. I have large hands, so it's a little odd to hold. The good thing is it's a firearm you carry more often than you fire, hopefully!

Great carry piece!
I've got both the Ruger LCP and it's 'rough' unrelated cousin, the Keltec P3AT...the Ruger is far and away improved in fit and finish, and it shows in how well it shoots. Great for waistband carry with the belt clip addition!

An Impressive Little Firearm!
I fired the LCP along side a Taurus TCP, I am by no means a firearms expert, but I was greatly impressed with the feel of the LCP. I was considerably more accurate with it and and had not one misfeed or jam, cannot say as much of the TCP. If I had it to do over again I would have bought 2 LCPs and not the TCP. Now is the time to buy your LCP it is on sale!!

LCP is the greatest.
Light weight, small, easily concealed and reasonably accurate at self-defense ranges.

I like my LCP
This is the pistol I have been looking for. I bought it from you about 2 months ago, and I have carried it everywhere. It's so light and small, I have to double check to make sure it's there! I also added the +1 extension, and that helps in my practice time. Thanks!
