Top 5 Shotguns of 2018

Looking for the top shotguns of 2018? We have them here. The top new trend is in shotgun pistols- shotguns that are held in one hand and have a short barrel. These are not classified as Short Barreled Shotguns and do not require any special transfer tax (they are not NFA or class 3 weapons)-- they are considered a normal firearm. Home defense (or tactical) shotguns also dominate the list.

1. Kel-Tec KSG. The highest demand shotgun of 2018 was the KSG by Kel-Tec. A unique bull-pup design with 14 rounds of 12 gauge goodness. Definitely a contender for most awesome shotgun of the year.
2. Remington 870 Tac-14. The Remington Tac-14 is a short-barreled shotgun that does not require any type of special transfer tax or license as it is not possible to shoulder it. (As long as it is legal in your state.)  A very cool new design, and one of the most popular shotguns of the year.
3. Mossberg 500 Persuader and Mossberg 590 Shockwave. Another two versions of the new, popular 'shotgun pistol' type of firearm, from the leader in reliable, low cost shotguns: Mossberg.
4. Remington 870 Express Tactical. A classic shotgun design, with ported tactical choke, and ghost ring sights.  A great home defense shotgun in 12 gauge.
5. Mossberg 500 Scorpion TALO Edition .  A heavy duty tactical version of the popular Model 500 by Mossberg, the TALO Scorpion is one bad-ass shotgun and a fantastic option for home defense.  

Runner Up:

Standard Manufacturing DP-12. This double barrel pump-action shotgun features a single trigger design that fires both barrels, sequentially.  This allows the operator an extremely fast method for a follow-up shot.  A very cool design, and one of our more popular shotguns.
