The BTVLSS features a stainless steel heavy varmint barrel and detachable box magazine set in a thumbhole stock with a natural wood-grained laminate finish and a Monte Carlo-style comb. Accurate and fun
How exciting to be able to find this fine rifle in a left-handed version. I'm amazed at its accuracy, great looks, and smooth bolt. I had to add a Matthew's fabrication custom cheek raiser to the stock as it wasn't high enough for the scope I mounted, and I prefer to have the firearm as snug as possible. It's rather heavy but a good sling helps in shooting it off hand. An excellent introduction to the 17 HMR
