Perfect for what it is
I bought this one because I love the .357 Sig round and needed a subcompact for concealed carry. I could also use it with one of my 15-rd magazines from my G31 for back-up. Another reason I got this one is that I'm not a fan of Glock sights and knew I would be putting AmeriGlo ghost ring sights with Tritium inserts, so I didn't want to pay the extra money for the factory night sights. I also installed the Glock factory 3.5 lb. connector, extended slide release, Pierce +1 grip extensions (my hands are quite large), and a Lasermax guide rod laser for high intensity scenarios that I hope I'll never see. This pistol is extremely accurate for it's size. I don't expect a 3.5" barrel to put up sub 2" 5-shot groups at 15 yards off hand, but this one routinely does. The .357 Sig, with its fantastic bottleneck design, pretty much guarantees that FTF's will not happen. This round does kick more than than most other rounds, but it's not bad if you're used to .40S&W. Just think before you buy and make sure you can handle the round. I have about a 1000 rounds through my G33 and about 5000 through my G31. Not one single FTF and only one FTE, but that was due to me limp-wristing on a shot, the one way you CAN'T shoot a Glock. All in all, I think this is one fantastic little subcompact, and think that it is just about the perfect match-up between caliber and subcompact for people who don't mind a powerful and durable "pocket rocket"!!
