Modeled after one of Americas great military arms, the USGI M1 Carbine, the M1-9 is nostalgic, fun and practical. This handy, easy to shoot rifle has the same overall dimensions, trigger groups design and sights as the original, but is chambered in the affordable and readily available 9mm Luger. The receiver has a dovetail machined on top of the front and rear receiver rings. The straight blowback design makes the M1-9 ultra-reliable and easy to clean and maintain.

Best Price on the internet was Impact. I just got back from shooting the Mi 9mm and had no issues with the rifle. They recommend high velocity for the first 150 rounds - used Federal 130 gran. Low recoil and no jams or malfunction for the first 100, will use 124 gram for the next 100.. ISSUE is the sights. The rear sights have 4 adjustment but the manual does not tell you what the adjustments range is. My other issue is my vision. I have a 36" arm length and a rare vision issue - result when I hold the rifle to my shoulder the rear sight fades and I do not see the pep sight - it seems I either hit 2" high or low - never the center. The grouping was reasonable - with in 2" (see stuck on 2"). Over all it was enjoyable and I am sure I will get better as soon as I solve the sight issue.
