Taurus Model 66
I recieved the revolver quickly from impact guns. Initial inspection was excellent, lock up was tight, forcing cone clearance was .004 and consistant for all cylinders, fit and finish was very good. Was fit and finish as good as a S&W 686, or a Ruger GP100? Absolutely not. Is the fit and finish on them $400.00 better than the Taurus, absolutely not. Took it to the range today and shot 250 rounds, (100 38 special +p, 100 max load 125 gr XTP's, and 50 max load Sierra 140gr sports master), and the gun performed flawlessly and the accuracy was excellent. The rear sight needed very little adjustment, the trigger in DA and SA was as good as any S&W I have shot, and yes, i own 2. That being said, the matte stainless is a PITA to clean especially on the front edge of the cylinders, the rear sight could be a little better, and I have used cylinder releases that I like better. This is a seriously excellent buy on a solid performing revolver. Would i bet my life on it? Yep.

Great Full Size revolver
essentially a direct competitor to the S&W 686+. The feel, look and function are pretty dang close to it. Yes it's not as finely finished, but it's also half the price. The one place that matters is reliability, and the only problems i've had with it was firing super cheap off brand magnum rounds. EVERY OTHER ammo type i've tried has had 0 issues. 5/5 would buy again and recommend
