The UZI was first produced in Izrael in 1953. The Vector UZI's receivers were produced by Group Industries in Kentucky. Vector out of North Salt Lake UT, obtained 3300 UZI receivers. They are assembled using South African parts that are all interchangeable with the original IMI Uzi's. Vector no longer has new UZI's available. Since they ran out in December of 2002 the appreciation and demand has increased dramatically. This Uzi is like new as you can see from the photo.
