Based on our best selling RANGER silencer, the G36-SD is designed for use on the 5.56mm caliber Heckler & Koch G-36 family of assault rifles. The G36-SD is available with mounts to fit the G-36, G-36K, G-36C (Commando), HK-33 and 93. G36-SD Variant 1 (H&K Part Number 702290) uses a spring wire retainer to securely fasten the silencer to the serrated barrels of the HK models 33 and 93, G-36, and G36-K, while the Variant 2 (H&K Part Number 702220) for the G-36C uses a split collet design to secure the silencer to the barrel circumference behind the muzzle threads.
