Love my Bull, February 18, 2017
I've had my 454 raging bull since they first came out. About fifteen years, give or take. It is a very good looking gun. It is the most dependable and trouble free revolver I have owned. It has never locked up or misfired. I have the ss 6.5" It is still tight and extremely accurate. Matter of fact, I just purchasedanother one. It has out performed my ruger and smith. Good job.

Taurus 454 rager review, January 09, 2014
Bought the 6" 454 Raging Bull in black about 3 years ago just because it looked so mean. A side benefit is that it scares the hell outta shooters at the range, especially indoor. I have fired about 500 or so 454 rounds of Buffalo Bore, Hornady and Magtech and never any problems. Same 500 in 45 "long colt" without any problems. Only complaint is that the black finish, especially at the ports, is kinda crappy. This is easily solved by having it Duracoated in medium gloss black, at it looked even meaner! Also, ammo is wayyyy expensive, but thats not a fault of the gun.

DISAPPOINTED, January 20, 2013
I bought a 5" Raging Bull .454 for bear defense when fishing and hiking in Alaska, or the Rockies. I also just wanted something heavier to shoot than my .44mags. All my other revolvers are S&W. The Raging Bull is a beautiful revolver, but mine had 10% misfires. No exaggeration! Called Taurus customer service. They were very efficient sending me a shipping box. I pulled the bullets and powder and included the misfired cases with the returned gun. Got it back in about 2 weeks. Now it misfires about 4% of the time. This is a handgun I thought I might have to use to protect my LIFE, but I would NEVER trust it. It is a beautiful looking gun, fun to shoot when it goes off, but I'd never buy a Taurus product again after this experience.
