If you're on a budget and need a reliable 22lr plinker, this is for you.
Have run several brands of ammo with few problems. The only noted issues were with the ammo that had problems in other guns (bad batch of Aguilara and some bottom-of-the-bucket Rem goldies)
Mounted a decent Bursa scope onto the dovetail rail and it's very accurate out to 60 yds. Haven't really tried farther out much yet, but with a barrel a few inches shorter than the typical 22lr rifle, I'm not expecting too much.
The flash suppressor looks cool and the threaded barrel is a plus.
I do wish it came with some rudimentary iron sites, but I'll find a cheap alternative somewhere.
The major complaint I have is with the 25 rd mag. AYFKM!? It's a giant pain in the 455 to load; no getting around it. Look for deals on a lot of the 10 rd mags, so much less hassle. The 10 rd mags aren't perfect, but once you get the hang of it, they load up quickly.
The other tick against this gun is that it's not made in the USA, but I knew that before purchase.
Great as an inexpensive backup, can killer, or even strapped to your backpack for some small game hunting. It's fairly easy to clean (watch that spring - as always, go watch a youtube video to find the easiest ways to clean and maintain.)
Bottom line - I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a budget semiauto 22lr rifle.
