Get them while they last! I was extremely lucky to stumble upon Impact guns having the Marlin 1895SBL in stock. And for such a great price! Shipping and FFL transfer were fast. Upon inspecting the firearm it is absolutely magnificent. Already mounted an optic to make it look just like the T-Rex gun in Jurassic World. If you find this Marlin under $1000 BUY IT IMMEDIATELY! You will not regret it.

awesome gun
the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it had some sharp edges from machining that I had to smooth out after I brought it home. I completely disassembled it, smoothed and polished the action, and it is as smooth as silk. all seems were tight between metal and wood and the front sight is at 12 o'clock as it should be. for me the ghost ring seems too big and is like looking at an ant through a stove pipe. i will eventually put a smaller diameter ghost ring on it.

Awesome rifle destined for legendary status
I can't say enough good things about this rifle. The balance and all the ergonomics are perfect. The oversized lever loop shows that someone built this "for use". Since most large game hunting is in Winter it stands to reason most people will be wearing gloves, right? The XS rail is perfect for mounting optics a little farther away than most rifles to prevent getting a black eye and the ghost ring sight with white front ramp sight are actually usable. The recoil pad really does it job. You'll be very glad its there and reduces recoil below 12ga shotgun levels. Stainless = less rusting than bluing. The laminate stock is beautiful and very rigid. I drilled some holes to mount an Accu-riser cheek pad and it was very hard to drill into. While most poo-poo the rainbow trajectory of the 45-70, the fact remains that with the proper load this round can drop anything with legs on every continent on Earth. Any seasoned hunter will tell you most shots are under 150yrds. Rounds range from 300gr to just under 600gr. Buy a rangefinder! This is my only rifle, but not my first. Be wary of the man with only one gun, for he surely knows how to use it. If you're even considering this rifle, buy it. You will never sell it.

How do I start the return process?
- Log in to your www.impactguns.com account and locate and click on the "Request Return" link.
- An Impact Guns agent will review your request for a return and respond within two business days.
- All returns are subject to inspection and approval prior to refund being issued.
- All products need to be in new and original manufacturer condition.
- As an alternate method, you can send an email to sales@impactguns.com. Please be sure to include your original order number and relevant contact information.
When will I get my credit or return?
- Most returns are fully refunded in 3-5 days after we receive and process the return. It may take longer for the credit to appear in your account depending on your bank. Most items that are in stock ship within 3-5 days after receipt of your returned item but may take longer depending on availability.
- Returns must be charged back to the original credit card used in the purchase. If this is not possible, we will refund you via check.
What about damaged/incorrect items?
- If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, Impact Guns will ship you a replacement of the exact item upon receipt of the damaged or defective item. Impact Guns will send you a return shipping label for the return.
What about return shipping costs?
- If an Impact Guns error causes the need to return an item or we are replacing a returned defective or incorrect item, then we will pay the associated shipping costs.
- Otherwise, the customer is responsible for any return shipping costs. When returning an item, please add package tracking and adequate insurance.
