I like Wolf ammunition. It's cheap and I have had almost no issues with it. It is a bit dirty and I wouldn't pick it as my prime ammo for, say, self-defense, but for plinking and target practice it's great. However, I didn't like the .40 S&W ammo very much. It was never really a tack driver round but this ammo seemed to wander a bit on accuracy. I've shot almost every surplus pistol and rifle round Wolf makes and this is the only one that has had an issue. I kept getting fliers here and there that were way outside my normal group. I tried some out of the rest and it proved the ammo was at fault. I kept getting three or 4 in a nice little group and then one or two fliers that were all over the place. It didn't give me as much of an issue out of the XD pistol as it did out of the SigP229. I wish I could say it was me; this makes my .40 shooting more expensive.
