This is a fantastic little pistol. I'm a medium build male, and I really enjoy the ease of handling and lack of recoil that goes with this gun. My 14-year old daughter loved it when she shot it, and said she'd like one for her concealed carry gun someday. I know a lot of people (read over-zealous males) prefer the 380 over the 32 (or god forbid, the "nothing less than a 45 will do" crowd), but I think both the 380 and the 32 are decent defensive rounds. I conceal carried a 380 until I shot this gun. And I have a PPK/S in 380 as well. I like the 380's for concealed carry (small, sufficient defensive stopping power), but 380's can have a little bight to them (jars the hand, hurts the wrist and fingers if firing repeatedly, harder to control in the pocket guns). Once I shot the PPK in 32, I switched to it for my concealed carry, and I love it. I realy enjoy how this gun/caliber handles. And if there's a woman in your life you'd like to see carry for her own protection, this will not initimidate her once she shoots it -- and, after all, the goal is for the shooter to feel comfortable and confident with the gun they carry. Plus ... this is the gun and caliber James Bond used (and now uses again); you gotta love that.
