I purchased a two pack of Walkers Ultra Game ears and was able to put them to the test on 2 seperate occasions so far. The first was when my hearing impaired Grandson forgot to bring his regular over the ear appliances with custom molds with him when I picked him up last Friday to go on an evening deer hunt. I gave him my new Walkers Ultra ears while I utilized my older in the ear appliances. He looked at me and wanted to know what all the extra noise was..I told him he was hearing the wind through the trees and tires whizzing on the blactop in the distance. To my further amazement, he was able to hear some turkeys clucking and yelping while going to roost that evening!
My second experience was on a Monday morning deer hunt. I felt much more comfortable with the Walkers appliances than my old in the ear ones. They pick up so well, it takes some getting used to due to the fact that your hearing range is actually extended both frequency and distance wise. The appliances were all morning comfortable, and suppressed the noise of my 6" .44 Magnum shooting Hornady 300 gr XTPs in a mostly wooded area. I would recommend them to anyone as a great value for the money. They do exactly what they are supposed to: enhance and protect your hearing. Sincerely, Fred Hedrick, Delaware.
