TA01NSN ACOG 4x32mm Center Illumination Scope Special Forces Version Amber Crosshair .223 Ballistic Reticle Black

Designed to the exact specifications of the US Special Operations Command for use by elite US forces. Ranging reticle allows for bullet drop compensation out to 600 meters without any manual adjustments. Reticle will appear black during the daytime and will glow amber in the dark. Includes backup Iron Sights. No batteries needed.

The TA01NSN was designed specifically for the US Special Operations Command SOPMOD M4 Carbine. To meet their requirements, the reticle bullet drop compensator and range finding stadia lines are based on the trajectory of the 62 grain bullet from a 16 inch barrel, flattop mount (Picatinny rail Mil.Std.1913).

Worth every penny, September 18, 2012

It may be hard to justify the cost of this optic, but once you mount it on your weapon, you'll never look back. The optical clarity of this ACOG, or any other Trijicon product is unbelievable. The reticle glows at night or in low light conditions thanks to the radioactive tritium Trijicon uses in their products. I'm in the military, and have extensive experience with Aimpoint and Eotech sights, but I prefer the ACOG every time.

The best purchase I have made for my DDM4. Optics are clear and sharp and the tritium illumination is beyond helpful in low light applications. You also get a backup ste of Irons with a tritium front post dot. Durablity is exceptional and the scope only adds a small fraction of weight to the gun.
