This is the hottest stainless steel version of the Taurus 1911. Taurus 1911''s are hot rodded with may custom features including a polished feed ramp, lowered ejection port, ambidextrious safety, beavertail memory pad grip safety, custom grip panels and ventilated trigger.

Great pistol, December 21, 2010

Great pistol shoots accurate right out of the box, with lots of extra features. Being left handed I really like the ambidextrous safety.

This gun was everything I hoped it would be and more. The sights are easy to pick up and the accuracy is much better than I expected. The felt recoil is noticable less than the Series 70 Colt that I have, I am sure this is a difference in springs, but what ever it is I like it. Only thing I would change is the ambidextrus Safety. Only because I wanted to add a Crimson Trace Laser. Crimson Trace tells me they have a fix for that. This is with out a doubt the best 1911 for the price
