Fine AR Starter Rifle!, April 03, 2013
Bought mine a little over 2 years ago. Very reasonable ... Have since added rails, svaried scops, lights, etc for fun. Have fired over 1000 rds. mostly Federal M855, but some 193s and some tracer. All I've fired is 5.56. Not a hitch in operation. Cleaned, oily, carbon, etc. Only problem was pistolgrip became slightly loose after all those rounds. Simple snug tightening w/ 3/16th long wrench. No problem. Fine weapon, would recommend for newer and experienced AR shooters.

Excellent rifle, November 27, 2012
For the price you cannot beat this ar. Fired over 200 rnds of 223 and 556 and not one single hiccup. Highly recommend for any looking to get into an AR15 platform.

My first AR, November 13, 2012
Just got my first Ar Mp sport! Went to the range with my son, this thing can shoot I tell ya! Right on,out from the box. It feels solid but simple, great grouping, compact, love it! Made in the USA, what can you say, I was not an AR believer, but I changed my mind.

Smith Wesson ar 15 sport 5.56, November 07, 2012
I have owned this weapon for a year now. I liked it so much I went and punched another one. The price is extremely reasonable. I have shot over 800 rounds and have had no and I mean no problems what so ever. I put a tactical scope on the one and left the peep sights that came with the weapon on the other. I enjoy shooting both and it has even lead me into starting to load my own custom ammo. If you want a reliable and very well priced carbine buy a s&w.

Best Civilian Mil-spec M4 Carbine Out, November 06, 2012
i've owned my M&P15 for over 3 years now,and i havn't found anything to complain about, not a one.I got the base model so that I cld go nuts as far a customizing.first off,the rifle is a "thread cutter" out of the box,but if you have the time to do your homework, you can only make it better. The only limiter is your imagination, and wallet. And on that subject, this is also the most affordable "Black Rifle" on the market as well.I got mine as a gift for exactly $660 including shipping & fees...you can't beat that anywhere for a brand new Mil-Spec'd 5.56mm M4 Carbine. But of course,as i said that was 3 years ago when the brand was early in production, and brand new..i dont think you can get that deal now.you will pay a little more but i promise that you will be getting the best for the money on the market,S&W is the way to go.i've used mine plinking, hunting, tactical shoots and in 3gun comps..and i've done nothing but suprised the heck out of people. Most think M&P's are cheap, and i get guys smurking, smart remarks but that ends quickly, and i've actually converted Most.Don't worry guys,i wont name names, but you know who you are..i've shot alot of AR's/M16/M4 & SCARS,and It is equal to all,if not better with some manditory basic accessories..sight/scope,2 stage trigger, flashlight, quad rail, and foregrip. If you dont believe me,go shoot one and find out for yourself and you'll thank me for saving you some hard earned cash.thanx for reading, and i hope you take my advice, and join team M&P

love this gun, May 29, 2012
Only issues I've had is 2 FTF after 100-120 rounds through it, stripped it and found that the bolt was running dry so i lubed it put back together and haven't had an issue since. I've had 4 inch groups out to 100 yards with the stock iron sights and could have been tighter with a better shooter I'm sure but all in all I think it's the best bang for your buck AR

Fantastic value, May 18, 2011
I purchased this rifle a couple of weeks ago and so far I am giddy about what a nice gun it is and what an incredible value it is as well. I've taken it to the range several times and experimented with different kinds of ammunition. I've used Federal 5.56, Remington UMC 2.23, Wolf 2.23 and PMC 2.23. The gun ran every one of them flawlessly. I was concerned that the gun might not run the Wolf steel ammo well and was very pleasantly surprised that it had no issues at all. Normally for a gun in this price range you would expect something totally stripped down. While the Sport does not have the forward assist, dust cover or come with a case it does have front and rear sights, Pmag 30 round mag and an 8:1 twist barrel that helps with accuracy. Speaking of accuracy, this is a very good gun to shoot well. So far I've only shot out to 50 yards but I've been able to keep decent grouping with only the iron sights while holding the gun in a sitting position (no sandbags or shooting rests). I'm confident I'll be able to get tight grouping once I put optics on it and utilize a shooting rest, bipod, etc.
