Streamlight MicroStream Black Blister Packaged - White LED

Fits in your pocket like a simple ballpoint pen. Very light. Blasts more light than you'd expect for the rating. I find it extremely effective out to 15' for all the small tasks. I am in law enforcement & use something different for longer distance, but this is so easy to carry & effective I use it for all my tasks. Definitely get one for road trips too. Great light & convenient. CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS ITEM.

I'm a regular guy. I don't need a high-powered, multi-mode, bullet-proof flashlight to carry around for EDC tasks. What I do need is a little extra illumination from time to time. I wanted a light that was super-compact, super-lightweight, durable, reliable, pretty bright, and stupidly simple (but nicer than a keychain light). All those requirements are fulfilled in the Streamlight Microstream. It's about 1oz, with the battery! It clips to my pocket and is pretty much forgotten about until it's needed. It gives an adequate 20-ish lumens, and is tough enough to survive the occasional drop on the street. I use it to look behind entertainment centers, under desks, inside computers, under car seats, and pretty much everywhere else you can think of where extra illumination comes in handy. It won't drive back a giant angry spider intent on eating a hobbit, but it does what I need it to, and I love it.
