A 10X mil-dot reticle installed in a 6.5X20X or 8.5X-25X scope has 1 mil spacing at 10X and 1/2 mil spacing at 20X. When either scope is set at 20X it will double the table values for distance. The power ring on these scopes is collimated at the appropriate 1 mil and 1/2 mil spacing.
Using a 4.5X-14X scope set at 7X or 3.5X-10X set at 5X halves the table values for the distance
