Swift Bullet Co.
|

|
Back in 1982, Swift started out making handgun bullets in Quinter, Kansas, using C&H dies in a loading press. The rifle bullets were made from 22 rimfire hulls with Corbin tools. About two years later, Swift began production on a new rifle bullet for large game and invested in more equipment. Further testing and bullet refinement led to what was to become known as the A-Frame™, with a copper-jacketed and bonded core design. The A-Frame™ bullet became a commercial offering in 1984, when Swift placed a small ad in Shotgun News to begin selling bullets through the mail. As sales grew, a punch press was purchased and production was born.
Ten years later, 1994, retired Pepsi Cola Company executive Bill Hober joined forces to form what is the Swift™ Bullet Company of today. Since that time, there has been a heavy investment in advertising, capital expenditures, research and development, and human resources. This has all led to the development and successful introduction of the Scirocco™ bullet line with the signature black polymer tip, as well as additional A-Frame offerings.
These famous A-Frame and Scirocco bullets are available from Impact Guns.

With its unique cross-member jacket design and the bonded front core, the Swift A-Frame™ Bullet has become famous for its ability to combine three critical performance features – controlled expansion to 2X original diameter, deep penetration and 95% weight retention at all velocities. This has made it the bullet that hunters shoot with confidence, at any game, of any size, close up or far off.

Scirocco bonded is the perfect bullet design for today’s fast, flat-shooting, long-range cartridges. Its secant ogive, 15-degree boat tail base and signature black polymer tip create a sleek, aerodynamic profile that helps maintain down-range velocities and flat trajectories. The extra heavy tapering jacket wall with an internally bonded lead core provides structural integrity, reliable expansion and penetration with 80%+ weight retention.
