Knight Rifles & Muzzleloaders *D*

When Tony Knight made one of the biggest advancements to the traditional muzzleloader rifle, he took the guns carried by American frontiersmen and improved them without compromising their historical value.

Today's muzzleloading hunters want historical accuracy as well as accuracy out on the hunt. With Knight Rifles, you can have it all: tradition, accuracy, reliability and ease of use for superior muzzleloader hunting.

In 1985, Tony Knight took an 1800's idea - move the ignition system directly behind the powder charge so the spark travels in a straight line (inline) to the powder - and added other advancements to create the modern inline muzzleloader. Complete with an easily removed breech plug, double safety system and sleek design, the resulting MK-85 muzzleloader rifle was less affected by weather, easier to clean and safer than ever.

It's this combination of the classic black powder rifle and modern improvements that took the muzzleloader hunting market by storm, and changed the way muzzleloader guns are built. While Knight Rifles' muzzleloaders are undoubtedly modern in many ways, they are still designed for classic muzzleloader hunting: barrel-loaded, one shot at a time, with powder and a slug or ball. In fact, most Knight Rifles conform any state's definition of a muzzleloader.

Since then Knight Rifles has consistently improved inline muzzleloader technology. For instance, Knight Rifles increased their rifles' twist rate to 1-in-32 inches, and then to 1-in-28, for unparalleled accuracy among inline muzzleloading rifles.
