Impact conducts Concealed Firearms Permit classes several times each month. We normally have a class on every other Saturday (10am to 2pm), and also every other Wednesday (5pm to 8pm).
Impact conducts a firearms
familiarity course of instruction by a certified instructor. Pre-registration for classes
is required. Class seats are issued on a first come first served basis.
This class is completed in one session, lasting an average of 4 hours. Our cost- only $60+$5 For Notary. This price includes pictures and prints. Upon completion of the 4 hour class, you will send a $65.25 fee to the State of Utah. Approx 3-4 weeks later, your permit will arrive at your house.
Our Instructor is Certified by the
NRA and the State of Utah.
The Minimum*
requirements for application for a concealed firearms permit in Utah are:
Applicant must be
at least 21 years of age,
A citizen or legal
resident of the United States,
Proof of good
character...whereas the applicant;
has not been
convicted of a felony;
has not been
convicted of any crime of violence;
has not been
convicted of any offense involving the use of alcohol;
has not been
convicted of any offenses involving the unlawful use of narcotics or
other controlled substances;
has not been
convicted of any offenses involving moral turpitude;
has not been
convicted of any offense involving domestic violence;
has not been
adjudicated by a court of a state or of the United States as mentally
incompetent, unless the adjudication has been withdrawn or reversed;
*A criminal background check is conducted
for all applicants.
