Charlie Tango Romeo 308 rifle details: Built on your Remington 700 action, Pac-Nor SS Select Match Grade Barrel and HS Precision Tactical Pro Series stock.
Custom modifications to action: Each rifle has the action face, bolt lugs and action threads blue printed and trued. The bolt lugs are first machined and then lapped for complete engagement. A premium magnum stainless steel recoil lug is installed and pinned. A Sako style extractor is installed for positive and reliable extraction. A custom Tactical bolt handle is installed.
Custom barrel modifications:
We use Pac-Nor's Stainless Steel Select Match Grade barrel, 24" (other lengths available) heavy contour. This package uses a 3 groove 1 in 12 twist, (true match grade.)Best for 308 bullets up to 170 grains. We machine the chamber using a custom built match quality reamer, specially designed around Federal Gold Medal Match 308, 168 grain HPBT ammunition. The barrel is fluted and bead blasted for a non-reflective finish, and then a black matte teflon coating is applied, (OD and grey available upon request. Our tests show that certain shades of OD and grey are undetectable by IR.)
Stock:
Each H-S Precision stock is glass bedded to each action for a perfect fit, making sure no external stresses are placed on the action. The barrel is allowed to free float. The stock is fully adjustable for length of pull, and has an adjustable cheek piece for correct shooting position, and allowing for different scopes. (Available in all colors H-S Precision offers. Extra delivery time on colors. We keep black on hand.)
Trigger:
The trigger is fully tuned and completely modified- resulting in a pull weight reduced to a crisp & clean 2.5 lbs.
