Beretta Gold & Diamond Pigeon Series Competition Shotguns
In addition to the 12 and 20 gauge, this elegant model is now also manufactured in 28 gauge. The elegantly styled side plates of the 687 EL Gold Pigeon II depict game scenes with hunting dogs (right side of 12 gauge) and pheasants (left side of 12 gauge). Engraved woodcocks (left side) and partridges (right side) enhance the beauty of 20 and 28 gauges. The exquisite deep relief engraving make these shotguns the most unique and exclusive in their category. 20 and 28 gauge models are also available in Combo version (20 gauge barrels and additional 28 gauge barrels – 28 gauge barrels and additional .410 gauge barrels). Precise fine line cut checkering sets off the highly figured walnut stock and Schnabel fore-end.
This is one of the most Beautiful over/unders we have ever had!
Perfect synthesis of elegance and competitive features
The Beretta 687 Pigeon over-and-unders demonstrate how improved performance and refined beauty can be perfectly matched.
The exceptionally strong, reliable, low-profile receiver is enhanced with rich engravings.
The stocks and fore-ends are cut from superior quality walnut, selected for its grain color and wood density, and built to withstand a lifetime of use and to guarantee a perfect balance and quick target acquisition.
The fine checkering, embedded oval plate for initials and rubber recoil pad give these guns a touch of elegance. A gold single-selective trigger and a beautiful yet sturdy gun case complete the offer.
Absolute performance
The barrels are cold hammer forged for concentricity and strength and then perfectly protected with a deep blueing finish. The wide ventilated competition rib is available with either a white target or luminous front sight to guarantee a quick target acquisition.
The 12 gauge Sporting barrels come with the exclusive Optima-Bore® internal profile with lengthened forcing cone that improves shot pattern distribution and reduces felt recoil. The Optimachoke® tubes minimize shot deformation, enhance concentration and distribution of shot patterns. The 20, 28, .410 gauge versions and the Skeet models mount 28” (71 cm) or 30” (76 cm) barrels with Mobilchoke® tubes.
