The Cobuk is based on the custom version that Russ makes and uses himself in skinning the Alaskan game that his clients bag. It is perfectly sized to handle everything from a Texas Whitetail Deer to an Alaskan Moose. It has a full bellied profile, high hollow grind for maximum productivity. Blade length is about the same as your index finger, so you know intuitively where the blade tip is at all times when working inside an animal. Construction features include a full tang AUS 6M stainless steel blade in bright satin finish with a Razor-Sharp cutting edge, sandwiched between contoured and textured Zytel® scales attached with premium Torx® fasteners. They are almost indestructible, solvent resistant, and even removable for cleaning. Lightening holes minimize weight. To aid grip and tactile awareness, there are ample friction grooves on both knives.
