The American 180 was designed and developed in the United States of America in the early 1970's and then later acquired by a group in Salt Lake City, UT.
The American 180 is hands down one of the most exciting machine guns to shoot! Picture yourself holding a nice .22 rifle. Cheek tucked and the stock butted up nice against your shoulder. Eyes fixed down the barrel on the cinder block wall not 25 yards out. A large red bullseye painted on it. You squeeze the trigger gently. Out come the .22 rounds feed from your 275 round magazine blazing out of the barrel at 1500 rounds per minute. You hold the trigger for 11 seconds emptying the entire magazine in one continous clean sweep. The rounds stop and the dust settles. The cinder block wall is completely destroyed!
