The M203 40mm grenade launchers were first tested in 1967-1968. The first prototypes were porduced by AAI Corp. In 1971 Colt took over all manufacturing of the M203 and began to supply the US Armed Forces in Vietnam. LMT is the current supplier of the US Armed Forces for the M203. These are very weill built units and the quality is un-surpassed.
This is the rail mounted version with the standard 9" barrel.
