IOR's new 10x56 tactical scope is ideal for marksmen accustomed to the rugged simplicity of a fixed 10x design, yet its 56mm objective offers greater clarity and light gathering characteristics than conventional 40mm models. It also sports several enhancements over IOR's earlier 10x56 model such as a larger ocular housing for greater eye relief, improved target turrets with removeable protective caps and a special matte black finish designed for extended maritime use. Other features include: Photo engraved tactical reticle MP8 Full multicoating and anti-reflection treatment eliminating glare and maximizing light transmission One piece steel housing, "O" ring sealed and nitrogen filled 30mm tube diameter Finger-adjustable knobs Waterproof Fogproof Shockproof (even when employed on a .50 cal. rifle) High resolution optic system Magnum lock support system on reticle Superior optical glass by Schott Glasswerk, Germany Specifications Magnification 10x Objective diameter 56mm Field of view at 100 yards 12 feet Exit pupil diameter 5.6mm Eye relief 4.0 inches Diopter adjustment -4 to +4 DPT Reticle adjustment range 100 MOA Click adjustment 1/4 MOA Tube diameter 30mm Length 13.5 inches Weight 22 oz
The MP-8 Tactical reticle is based on the mil-dot system. In addition to the 1 mil marks, it offers 1/2 mil, 5 mil and 10 mil marks for improved rangefinding and aiming precision. The 5 mils added to the vertical stadia offer holdover capabilities unparalleled by other designs. The 5 mil and 10 mil marks speed initial measurements and target acquisition, and the elimination of the thick post at the bottom of the reticle facilitates a clear, unobstructed view of the target for enhanced tracking capabilities. The reticle's heavy top and side bars are 1 mil thick, and its fine lines are 0.1 mil thick.
