The Viper mounts securely on the unmodified Mac 10. Ingram submachine gun barrels with a unique mount that prevents unintentional loosening or unscrewing during use. Initial installation is simple, and subsequent installation and removal simply involves sliding the suppressor handguard forward to disengage the locking mechanism.
