This premium horsehide holster is designed for front pocket carry in pants or a jacket. A quality pocket holster will meet the following three requirements: 1. It keeps the firearm in the same general position so you can quickly locate the grip when you need to draw. 2. It conceals the shape of the gun so that its outline is not printed through the pants. (This is why we do not use our standard deep molding on this model.) 3. It allows one-handed release of gun from both pocket and holster. This model accomplishes that by hooking and catching one of two leather hooks on the top of the holster into your pocket corner when you draw your firearm. With practice (use an unloaded firearm) you can draw the firearm while the holster remains in your pocket or falls away (in the proper pants). The holster is made with smooth leather inside against the gun for easy release, and the rough side out against the pocket for retention of holster in the pocket. This holster is ambidextrous and available in natural finish.
