This is the lightest carbine in the Bushmaster line, and features theChrome Lined Super Light 16" Barrel, which is turned from .670" to .565"diameter under the hand guard, .625" diameter under the sight base, and.570" diameter out to the muzzle. This slim profile barrel, with the 6 position Tele-style Stock, makes a sweet handling, easy toshoot carbine. Rifling is 1 turn in 9", right hand twist, six lands andgrooves. A manganese phosphate finish is applied to the barrel as wellas all other critical steel parts of the weapon for excellent protectionagainst corrosion and rust. A2 Fixed Carry Handle configuration. TheM16A2 sight system, with dual flip-up aperture is designed for eithershort range shots at moving targets or long distance accuracy, andoffers 1 Minute of Adjustment for elevation (windage is 1/2 M.o.A.).
