The #40L allows lower mounting, miniaturized windage knob and a very new and unique dual aperature. (Also now available with Same Plane aperture- order our item # 40L-SP.) The #40L has all the features of the standard #40 series. It has the ability to be low profile in the down position and is as robust as the rest of the #40 series.
