The VARMINT is a thread mounting silencer for rifles and handguns chambered for the relatively new .17 Hornady Rimfire Magnum cartridge. This tiny, high velocity round has enjoyed great success with target shooters and small game hunters, and it's popularity continues to expand. Constructed of stainless steel and CNC machined aerospace quality aluminum, the VARMINT drops the sound signature of .17 HRM to a level that is indistinguishable from bullet flight noise without the use of liquids or coolants. The CAD designed baffle stack of the VARMINT delivers a slight boost to accuracy and velocity while it's light weight and compact size enable it to go virtually unnoticed on a rifle or carbine. The VARMINT comes standard with a polished stainless finish, but is optionally available with either a non reflective bead blast finish or flat black polymer.
