Through the use of artificial environment technology, the STINGER completely eliminates muzzle flash and bothersome first round pop, thus making it suitable for use by tactical users and sport shooters alike. The advanced baffle design of the STINGER is designed to retain light oil and liquid coolants for up to 2 magazines (16-20 rounds) of use before recharging. The combination of a stainless steel body and CNC machined aerospace quality aluminum internals result in an attractive and durable sound suppressor which requires no maintenance other than periodic recharging of the artificial environment. Although originally designed for use on small .22 LR pistols such as the Walther TPH and Beretta 21, the STINGER delivers impressive performance when employed without coolant on locked-breech .22 LR rifles using subsonic ammunition.
