The RAPTOR-40 is a lightweight, physically small, fast-attach silencer designed specifically for the .40 and 10mm Heckler & Koch MP5 submachineguns. The RAPTOR-40 degsigned to mount directly on the H&K 3 lug barrel using a CNC machined fast-attach mount. Weighing only 12 ounces and measuring only 9 inches in length, this unit has no adverse effect on either the handling or accuracy of the weapon. The RAPTOR-40 outperforms any comparable sized .40/10mm silencer, and many that are significantly larger and more expensive. It easily satisfies the demand for a small, lightweight tactical silencer for the .40/10mm MP5. The unit features precision CNC machined 2024-T3 aluminum baffles in a hard black anodized aluminum body utilizing aerospace grade aluminum alloys. As with all Advanced Armament Corp. units, no wipes or mesh packings are used, and cleaning can be accomplished by simple immersion in solvents. Supplied with replacement thread protector.
