The NAVY is a thread-mounting silencer for the MP-5N, MP-5KN, MP5-PDW submachineguns and the P9S-N and P7-M13N 9mm semi-automatic pistols. Based on the ground breaking PHANTOM silencer, the compact and light-weight NAVY is constructed of CNC machined aerospace quality aluminum alloy and stainless steel. The initial expansion chamber is designed to minimize first round pop, and features a 304 stainless steel blast baffle to guard against the erosive effects of unburned propellant. The performance of the NAVY can be increased by up to 30% by introducing a small amount (approximately 5cc) of water into the rear of the baffle stack. The tube and end caps of the NAVY are finished with a corrosion resistant matte black, hard coat, anodizing. The threaded rear mount is constructed of 304 stainless steel to prevent excess thread wear endemic of all-aluminum silencers.
