The PMAG™ (polymer magazine) is a lightweight 30-round 5.56 NATO, M-16compatible magazine. The PMAG™ features a pop-off storage/dust coverthat alleviates pressure from the magazine feed lips, allowing for storage ofloaded magazines without risk of feed lip creep that often causesmalfunction in standard aluminum magazines. PMAG™ utilizes a resilientstainless steel spring for corrosion resistance.
The MagLevel™ round indicator system (see illustration right) allows forvisual identification of the magazine’s loaded round count. Byincorporating a window on both sides of the magazine, it is easily used byboth right and left-handed shooters.
The PMAG™ utilizes a proprietary floor plate for easy disassembly andcleaning, as well as a four-way anti-tilt follower similar to the originalMagpul USGI Enhanced Self-Leveling Follower.
